Speck Funeral Home- Jody Carter

Jody Carter, age 60, of Livingston, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his residence on August 11, 2025.

He was born on March 19, 1965, and spent his life in Tennessee. From a young age, Jody discovered a deep love for music. He picked up a guitar early in life and never put it down, sharing his talent and voice with everyone around him. Whether he was playing for friends or just strumming at home, music was his lifelong passion.

Outside of music, Jody loved the freedom of the open road and spent countless hours riding his Harley-Davidson. It brought him peace and a sense of adventure that he truly treasured.

Above all, Jody loved his friends and family. He held those close to him with deep affection and loyalty, and he will be remembered for the love he gave so freely, his easygoing nature, and the joy he brought into the lives of others.

A Celebration of Life for Jody will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home. The family will welcome friends for visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Bro. John Murphy will officiate
