Graveside Services for Mr. Joe T. Hawkins, age 79 of Monroe, will be conducted 1 PM Monday, March 14th, from Green Hill Cemetery.  Pastor David Beaty will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the graveside.

Mr. Hawkins passed from this life on Friday morning, March 11, 2022, from his residence.  He was born in Overton County on September 3, 1942, to the late Reesee and Allie Ledbetter Hawkins.  Joe loved fishing, gardening, and watching football.  He loved hunting with dogs of all types.

Joe leaves behind his loving wife Beverly Hawkins of Monroe; son Perry Hawkins of Anderson; sister Bertha Stoner of Livingston; brother James Hawkins of Monroe; grandson Jessie Smith of Anderson; and great grandsons Jake and Javin Smith of Anderson.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his brother Billy Mac Hawkins and sister Betty Parsons.

Pallbearers to serve are Mike Vaughn, Jerry Colson, Benny Parsons, James Hawkins, Jerry Garrett, and Glen Carr.
