Celebration of Life Services Honoring the Life of Mr. John Howard Randolph, age 84, of the Spring Creek Community will be conducted 12 noon, Monday, February 5, 2024, from the Netherland Church of Christ.  Bro. Mark Loftis will officiate.  Interment will be held at a later date at the Netherland Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services.

John H. Randolph, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, at Overton County Health and Rehab Center.  John was born to Albert and Chalus Fleming Randolph on November 28, 1939, in Algood, TN. He was well-known for his easy-going nature and his sweet smile. As an elder at Netherland Church of Christ, he was always ready to help someone in need.  He served in the National Guard Armory from 1957 - 1966.

John was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Joseph Todd Randolph, who passed away in 2018.

He is survived by the love of his life, Patsy Gragg Randolph, who he married on April 20, 1961, and one son, John Mark Randolph. He is also survived by two daughters-in-law, Paula Maxwell Randolph and Cindy Hestand Randolph; three granddaughters, Rachel and Rebecca Randolph, and Jenna McKenzie; one grandson, John Ross Randolph; six brothers and sisters, Marilyn (Charles) Masters, Carolyn (Bobby) Pharris, Jim (Kathy) Randolph, Sandra Freeman, Jerry Randolph, and Debbie Moss; and a host of nieces and nephews.

John was retired from the Water Dept of the City of Cookeville where he worked for 30 years. After retirement, he served as a volunteer at CRMC for about 15 years. In recent years, he enjoyed meeting his friends, fondly known as The Liars Club, for breakfast at the Garden Cafe. He loved to socialize and stay active.

The family was so blessed to have the staff at Overton County Health and Rehab caring for John over the past several months. They have been like family.
