A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Johnnye Ethel Warden Dickerson, age 99, of Livingston, Tennessee, will be held at a later date.

With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life well lived, we share that Mrs. Johnnye passed peacefully from this life on March 20, 2026, at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County. She was born at home on April 23, 1926, in Livingston, Tennessee, to the late Will and Nancy Holman Warden.

A proud 1945 graduate of Livingston Academy, Johnnye was also a faithful and devoted member of Livingston First Baptist Church, where her quiet strength and kind spirit were a blessing to many.

Johnnye had a special gift for making a house feel like home. She took great pride in her beautiful flower gardens, which reflected her gentle nature and love for simple joys. She found happiness in shopping trips, laughter shared over board games, and time spent with those she loved most.

She leaves behind cherished memories with her niece and devoted caregiver, Jeanette Ferrell of Rickman, Tennessee; a very special girl, Beth Hasey of Cookeville, Tennessee; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins who will carry her love in their hearts always.

Johnnye was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, William Horace Dickerson; her sisters, Geneva Burris, Anna Mae Ledbetter, Willa Bea William, and Auda Belle Stewart; and her brothers, Hack, Carl, Thomas, and Buck Warden, along with her parents who welcomed her home.

Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, warmth, and simple kindness will live on in all who knew her.
