Funeral Services for Mr. Joseph "Austin" Millsap, age 33, of Franklin, Tennessee will be conducted 2 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2024, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens  The family will welcome friends on Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. until time of services.  

Austin passed from this life from the comforts of his childhood home on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.  He was born on May 20, 1990, to Christy Rose and the late Theron Rafe White. Austin was described as the energy in the room and bigger than life. From a young age Austin could be found fishing with his Boompa as he reeled in sizable fish. From there his love of nature only grew. He was passionate about the wilderness and the world around. He also, enjoyed cooking for those he cared deeply for.  He had a passion and talent for skateboarding that was unparalleled to others. He loved his family fiercely and will be missed dearly.  

Austin leaves behind his mother Christy Rose and step-father, Michael Rose of Franklin, TN; brother Hunter Rose of Franklin, TN; sister Brooke Rose Blackburn of Rickman, TN; grandmother Rochelle MIllsap of Livingston,TN; daughters Cayleigh and Scarlette, and a host of extended family and friends.  

Austin was preceded in death by his daughter Cadence Rose Millsap, grandparents Joseph Eric Millsap, and Harl and Dorothy Rose.
