Funeral Services for Mr. Joshua Brian Bohannon, age 28, of Cookeville, Tennessee will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Young Cemetery, in Jackson County. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening April 22, 2022, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home.
Joshua was born at the Cookeville Regional Hospital on January 6, 1994, to Howard and Alicia Allen Bohannon. Joshua was a smart, intelligent young man who was loved by everyone who knew him. He always wanted to make you laugh. Joshua was his brother Jason everything, always together and never left each other's side. Joshua loved God, his children, basketball and his family, these were the most important things to him. He will be missed dearly by his loving family and friends.
Joshua leaves behind his parents, Howard and Alicia Bohannon; son, Jaylin Bohannon; daughter, Aubrey Bohannon; brother, Jason Bohannon and Chelsea Scott; one bonus brother, Brandon Roberts and wife Hannah. He had a bonus mom Vickie Jones and husband Steve; several aunts and uncles, Paula Allison, Greg Allen and wife Ashley, Brenda Farley and husband Doug, Martha Spivey, Chasity Bennett, Richard Massa, and Mary Beth Bohannon, Raymond Allen and wife Danielle; great aunt and uncle who was very special to Joshua, Frank Meadows and Stephanie Eldridge; and grandmother, Barbara Gail Meadows.
Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles "Niff" and Clara Allen, Jr and Bertie Meadows, and Alfred Meadows.
