Mr. Joshua "Josh" Steven Maulding, age 46, of Byrdstown, TN passed away on June 20, 2026, from the comforts of his home. Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 7 p.m. from Waypoint United Pentecostal Church. Brother Paul Stringer will officiate. Family will welcome friends on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 5 p.m. until time of service at Waypoint United Pentecostal Church.

Joshua was born was born in Detroit, MI on September 9,1979 to Thomas "Tom" Maulding and the late Patricia Garrett Maulding. Josh loved fishing anywhere he could and enjoyed riding his motorcycle whenever he had the chance. He deeply loved his children and cherished all of his family. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball and football, and later took great pride in cheering on his son as he played those same sports for the Livingston Academy Wildcats.

Josh leaves behind his kids Joshua Maulding, Jr. of Livingston, TN, Alesia West of Rickman, TN, and Cora Maulding of Rickman; father Thomas Maulding and wife Gail of Dry Hollow Community, TN; siblings Jason Hill and wife Crystal of Crossville, TN, Wendy Neely and husband Rick of Cookeville, TN, Alicia South and husband Raymond of Smyrna, TN, and Skler Maulding of Russell Springs KY; companion Lauren Williams of Byrdstown, TN; and chosen sister Ashley Mace of Monterey, TN.

In addition to his mother Josh was preceded in death by brother Matthew Hill.

The pallbearers to serve are Josh Maulding, Jr., Rick Neely, Jason Hill, Christian Young, and Raymond South. 

In lieu of flowers, Josh’s family respectfully requests that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
