Speck Funeral Home - Joy White Obituary

Mrs. Joy Carol Johnson White, age 71, of Livingston passed from this life on Wednesday evening, August 26, 2020 from the Sumner Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was born in Coffee County, Tennessee to the late James T. & Agnes Christene Carroll Johnson. Joy graduated High School in 1968 and was a member of the Christ Chapel Church. Joy loved church, and playing the piano. Her greatest joy was her family and being around people.

Joy leaves behind her sons, Bobby James White & wife Linda of Cookeville, TN, and Jonathan White & wife Mary of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Marrion, James, Levi, Marissa, and Aubery White; great-grandchildren, Kaycee & Emily Pittman; sisters, Faye Baltimore of Livingston, TN, and Gail Wells & husband Howard of Manchester, TN; son-in-law, Billy Shelton of Cookeville, TN.

In addition to her parents, Joy was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Hank White; and son, Billy Christopher White.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.
