Joyce Faye Thompson, 85, of Allons, passed away at her residence on Wednesday May 13th 2026. Faye, as she was known by, loved her family deeply and showed her love whenever possible.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May18th at 1 PM from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. The family will welcome visitors on Sunday evening May 17th from 5 until 9 PM and again on Monday from from 11 Am until time for the service. Burial will follow in the Garrett Cemetery in Allons. 

Faye is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sue and Gary Bush, daughter-in-law Denise Thompson, grandchildren Brook (Seth) Gilbert, Megan (Wes) Burnett, Derek (Brittany) Bush, Lacey (Matt) Piland, Heath (Bailey) Thompson; Great grandchildren Cara Lee Gilbert, Callie Gilbert, Bryce Burnett, Blakely Burnett, Ella Bush, James Bush, Bret Piland, Anna Piland, Stevi Thompson, and Dani Thompson. She is also survived by her sister Jean Long and brothers Jim (JoAnn) Turner and Tommy (Sharon) Turner.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband Willie "Crock" Thompson and her son Steve Thompson. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Faye loved her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would take any moment she could to dote over them. She loved quilting and even tried her best to see that all of her great grandchildren would have one to keep. Faye loved flowers and especially roses of any color. Red roses , white roses, yellow roses, orange roses, it didn't matter to Faye what color they were,  as they were all examples of God having his hand on creation. Faye was faithful to attend the Allons Church of Christ and always considered herself a part of Holly Springs Church of Christ also as this was her "Home" church. Faye loved her shopping trips with her sister Jean when they would hit the thrift stores wide open and she especially loved The Goodwill which she called her own Macy's. Faye will be missed on this earth but her family can take comfort that she is now with her Lord and Savior in a place with no tears and no pain.
