In Loving Memory of Mr. Larry Bryant Cooper
Funeral services for Mr. Larry Bryant Cooper, age 73, of Alpine, Tennessee, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Larry Mason, Bro. Derek Copeland, and Bro. Donnie Davidson. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery, with the Alpine Fire Department honored to serve as pallbearers. Memorial Donation can be made to the Upper Cumberland Christian Academy, in memory of Larry.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 29, from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. conducted by West Fork Lodge and fellow lodge brethren. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Mr. Cooper passed away peacefully on the evening of Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 6, 1952, at the Lady Ann Hospital in Livingston, to the late Odis and Cassie Ferrell Cooper.
A proud 1971 graduate of Pickett County High School, Larry dedicated many years of service to Berkline Manufacturing and worked tirelessly on his beloved farm in Alpine. A committed Freemason, he was a 50-year member of the West Fork Lodge, a past member of Livingston Lodge #259, member of the Livingston Order of the Eastern Star, and held membership in both the York and Scottish Rite bodies. He was also a proud Shriner, known for his commitment to fellowship and service.
Larry found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life — especially sitting on his front porch, watching friends and neighbors pass by. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandson, James Price York, his closest companion and pride.

A special family friend, Kim Smith, of Alpine, TN
Larry was preceded in death by his beloved parents.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community he loved and served so faithfully.
