Speck Funeral Home - Larry Wayne Pierce

Funeral Services for Mr. Larry Wayne Pierce, age 75 of Monroe, will be conducted 1 PM Tuesday, December 7th, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Steven Barlow will officiate.  Burial will be in Beaty Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Tuesday from 11 AM until the time of services at 1 PM.

Larry passed from this life on Friday morning, December 3rd, 2021, from Cookeville Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Gamaliel, Kentucky, on November 20, 1946, to the late Cladus and Anna Lorene Short Pierce.  Larry loved sports cars, going to car shows, and trading on new cars.

Mr. Pierce leaves behind his brother Troy Pierce of Cookeville, nephews Tommy Phy and wife Donna of Cookeville and Steve Pierce and wife Cindy of Cookeville, niece Jaclyn Cauthorne and husband Tyler of Cookeville and Tammy Dickens and husband Troy of Cookeville, and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife Donna Sue Pierce and sister Geneva Phy.
