The family will welcome friends on Friday evening, June 6, from 5 until 8 p.m., and again on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of services.

Levi passed from this life on Saturday evening, May 31, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born in Cookeville, Tennessee, on March 18, 1993, to David Michael and Gena Marie Carr Livingston.

Though Levi lived the majority of his life in a wheelchair, he never saw himself as disabled. He saw himself as capable, fearless, and free. His spirit was full of determination, and he met every challenge with a smile, a joke, or a burst of laughter that could light up a room. Levi never let anything hold him back—not even for a moment.

From a young age, he was full of energy and joy. He loved riding his four-wheeler (with a little help from Dad), fishing at the edge of a quiet creek, and later, cruising around the community he called home. His blood ran orange for UT football, and he never missed a NASCAR race if he could help it. Motorcycle racing thrilled him, and he lived vicariously through the speed and power of the bikes he admired.

To know Levi was to know unwavering courage, deep love, and a sense of humor that could disarm any room. He taught everyone around him what it meant to live fully—without limits, without excuses, and always with heart.

Levi leaves behind his devoted parents, David and Gena Livingston of the Spring Creek Community of Rickman; his brother, Ethan Livingston and wife Cheyenne Williams of Livingston, TN; and his sister, Tiffany Johnson and husband Danny, also of Livingston, TN. He is also survived by his beloved nephews, Raylan Johnson, Jasper Johnson, and Jameson Livingston; his cherished niece, Evie Livingston; his uncle, Dallas Carr and wife Mercy; and his grandparents, Jack and Joyce Carr of Alpine, TN.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Judy Livingston; his aunt, Gela Pedigo-Philpott; his uncle, David Philpott; and his great-grandparents, Earl and Mary Livingston, Herman and Auda Bowers, Jonathan and Ethel Ringley, and Ernest and Zona Walker-Carr.

Levi was, and always will be, a light to his family, his community, and all who knew him. His body may have had limits, but his spirit never did.

A very special thanks to Dr Dawn Barlow @ The Livingston Clinic, Becky Clark @ Medical Supply Services, CRMC ICU & ER, Vanderbilt Children Hospital, and Overton County Ambulance Services for taking great care of Levi.  Also, Levi’s dogs Frodo & Rebel will miss the crumbs of food.

He rolled through this world with courage—and now, he runs free.
