Mrs. Lillian Patsy Sherrill, 90, passed away January 23rd 2026, at the Livingston Regional Hospital. Mrs. Lillian was a hard working lady who loved her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 31st at 12 noon with visitation at 10 am until time for the service. Burial will follow at the Overton Memorial Gardens. Brother Jeff Waters will officiate the services.

Pallbearers will be Paul Strong, Nathaniel Strong, Robbie Strong, Kaden Strong, Nick Brown, and Joey Staggs.

Mrs. Lillian P. Sherrill is survived by her step daughter Carolyn Shull of Clifton TN, step granddaughter Tina Bowling and husband Randy of Benton KY. step grandson Brian Lineberry and wife Samantha of Clifton TN , and numerous other family members, neighbors, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  husband Elzo Sherrill, brothers Allard Winningham, Arviel Winningham, Willard Winningham, Shorty Winningham, Clifton Winningham, and Clyde Winningham. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Dellis Hungerman and Ruby Hummell. 

Born in the Willow Grove area to Ernest and Edith Hicks Winningham in 1935, Lillian treasured time spent with family and friends. She loved sitting on her porch and catching up on all the news in the area and what was going on in each persons life. Whether it be family, neighbors, friends, or fellow church members from Fellowship Baptist Church, Lillian loved spending time with them. She worked for many years in the garment industry and in her time off enjoyed gardening and shopping.
