Mrs. Lois Beatrice Hammock, age 96, of Rickman, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Liberty Cemetery.

Lois was born on October 17, 1928, in Overton County, Tennessee, to the late Raymond and Minnie Cantrell Deck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hammock; son, Jerry C. Hammock; and siblings, Geneva Lawson, Paul Deck, and James Edward Deck.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Patsie Cumby and husband Jimmy of Rickman, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy Hammock (Loretta) of Cookeville, TN, Shawn Hammock (April) of Livingston, TN, Laurn Caruthers and husband Jay of Cookeville, TN, Christopher Cumby and wife Samantha of Dacula, GA, Dennis Crumby of Cookeville, TN, and Rachel Randolph and husband Scotty of Athens, AL; 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lois’ family, friends, and all who knew her will remember her fondly for her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared with those closest to her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, which will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
