Mr. Loren James Sommers, 22, of Allons passed away at The University of Tennessee Medical Center on November 30th 2025. Loren was an outgoing young man who wasn't afraid of hard work.

Funeral services will be held at the Willow Grove Mennonite Church on the Willow Grove Highway in Monroe on Thursday, December 4th at 10 AM. The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 3rd from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Burial will be in the Mennonite Church Cemetery following the service. Officiating the service will be Bro. Dennis Martin and Bro. Waldon Plett.

Loren is survived by his parents Leon and Lucy Sommers of Allons and his siblings Joyce, Carla, and Larry Sommers all of the home. He is survived also by his grandparents Mable Sommers and Marvin & Esther Horst. He also leaves to mourn numerous other relatives and friends. 

Loren was preceded in death by a grandfather, Seth Sommers.

Loren was friendly to everyone he encountered. He loved the outdoors, and camping was one of his favorite pastimes. He could often be found enjoying God's creation while fishing and hunting. Loren was a hard worker on the farm while caring for horses and cattle. Loren loved his family dearly, both his church family and his biological family. Loren was athletic and loved playing ball games at church. While the loss is hard, his family and friends can take comfort in knowing his final destination.
