Lucille Mae Warden passed away Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022 from the Day Springs Nursing Home in Enon, Ohio.  She was born December 22,1928 in Hamilton, Ohio to George F. and Carrie M. (Will) Wendling.  In 1937, she was placed in the Ohio Soldiers and Sailors Orphans Home in Xenia, Ohio. Lucille very much enjoyed the home during her stay there.  She talked about the good and the hard times, but always felt it was the best time of her life before marriage. Lucille was a member of the Association of Ex Pupils, and a member of the Central Avenue Church of Christ for over 40 years.  She loved church and the people she grew to know. On February 16,1952, Lucille married Thomas A. Warden in Dayton, Ohio.  Lucille was a busy woman with 8 children, a husband and house to care for, and still worked an assortment of jobs including a newspaper counselor, store clerk, and housekeeping services for motels and private homes.   She was a strong, caring woman and would do anything for her children and grandchildren.

Lucille is survived by her sons, Horace (Buck) Q.  Warden of Kettering, Ohio and Melvin (Mel) D. Warden and wife Geraldine (Paige) of Pascagoula, Mississippi; daughters; Irene D. Warden of Cookeville, Tennessee and Darlene L. Seibert and husband Wayne of Fairborn Ohio. Grandsons:   Benjamin R. (Ben) Warden of Enon, Ohio; Christopher T. Warden and wife Michelle L. (Carmody) of The Woodlands, Texas; Kyle M. Warden of Kettering, Ohio; Ramzi R. Khammari of Boulder, Colorado; Jonathon R., Alan T. Seibert of Fairborn, Ohio, Brian F. Seibert and wife Lacey Rose, of Piqua, Ohio and Daniel Seibert of Kettering, Ohio and Granddaughter, Sarah Kate Mae Warden. Her great-grandchildren; Joseph, Lillian and James Warden of The Woodlands, Texas; Morgan Seibert of Kettering, Ohio; Sherry Seibert of Piqua, Ohio; Jeremy Seibert of Piqua, Ohio; Jacob Seibert of Piqua, Ohio, Her great-great-granddaughter, Mya Seibert of Piqua, Ohio, and many friends, especially Carol Smith of Fairborn, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Warden, sister, Florence Glock, brothers, Lawrence, George, John, Edward and Robert.  She was also preceded in death by four children; Richard T. Warden, Deborah A. Khammari, Lloyd B. Warden and Jack F. Warden.
