Speck Funeral Home - Marcia Martin

Funeral Services for Marcia Chilton Martin, age 91, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, November 12, 2021 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. John Cahill will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Martin Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Friday from 12 noon until time of services at Speck Funeral Home.  Memorial Donations may be made to the Martin Cemetery Fund, by contacting the funeral home.

Mrs. Marcia passed from this life on Monday afternoon, November 8, 2021 from the Overton County Health and Rehab.  She was born in Clay County, Tennessee on September 19, 1930 to the late Ebb and Mae Glidewell Chilton.  She was a member of the Shiloh Church, and a 1950 graduate of Celina Highschool.  Marcia enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and cooking for her family. Her greatest joy in life was her family.

Marcia leaves behind her loving husband of 71 years, Mr. James Martin of Livingston, TN; daughters, Sherry Nolan and husband Phil of Cookeville, TN, and Pam Head and husband Larry of Allons, TN; son, Eddie Martin and wife Rena of Rickman, TN; grandchildren, Jason Nolan and wife Stephanie, Patrick Officer, Jim Officer, and Will Martin; great-grandchildren, Ellie Nolan, and Annabelle Nolan; sister, Jane Buford of Battle Creek, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by her brothers, Marshall, Edgar, and Norman Chilton; sisters, Judy Garrett, Annie Uldriks, Adelene Underwood, and Evelyn Young.

Pallbearers to serve are Eddie Martin, Phil Nolan, Jason Nolan, Patrick Officer, Jim Officer, Larry Head, and Will Martin.
