Speck Funeral Home - Margaret Ann Norrod

Funeral Services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Norrod, age 82, of Monroe will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2020 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Nolen Cantrell, and Rev. James Shenko will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 12 noon until time of services at 2 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Norrod passed from this life on Thursday morning, October 8, 2020 from her home in Monroe.  She was born in Overton County, Tennessee on December 27, 1937 to the late J. Carlos & Nola Mae Johnson Swann.  Ann was a member of the McDonalds Chapel United Methodist Church.  She loved her family, and made wonderful works of art with her needle and thread.  Ann also enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Ann leaves behind her her loving husband of 61 years, Billy K. Norrod of Monroe, TN; son, Billy Joe Norrod & wife Annette of Livingston, TN; daughter, Sherrie Blakely of Monroe, TN; grandchildren, Colby Norrod, Jasmine Maxfield & husband Josh; sisters, Barbara Rico & husband Manual of Chattanooga, TN, and Linda Hodge & husband Carl of Crawford, TN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Swann, and Roy Swann; sisters, Martha Jean Rodgers, and Donna Ingram.

Pallbearers to serve are Larry Hull, Matt Jolley, Jeff Norrod, Tracy Rico, Donnie Howard, and Matt White.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Colby Norrod, and Josh Maxfield
