Graveside Services for Mrs. Martha Bernice Davis Warden, age 98, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2021 from the Holly Springs Cemetery. Bro. Chris Ward will officiate. The family will welcome friends at the graveside.
Mrs. Martha Bernice Warden passed from this life on Wednesday morning, December 30, 2020 from the Overton County Health & Rehab in Livingston. She was born in Hilham, Tennessee on October 25, 1922 to the late Noah Frank and Mary Emma Davis. She was a 1940 graduate of Livingston Academy. Bernice enjoyed traveling, cooking, strawberry milkshakes, making necklaces and bracelets, her family and getting her hair done.
Bernice leaves behind her grandchildren, Carmen Oberg-Hendley and husband Tony, and Kelly Lynn French and husband Eric; great-grandchildren, Robert Oberg, Arynn Hendley, Kenzi Hendley, and Kayla Hendley; sisters, Dorothy Stanton, and Helen Jane Myers; special niece, Carol Leusack.
In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Carvel Warden; sons, Kelly Gene Warden, and Robert Gary Warden; brothers, Earl Fred Davis and James Davis; sisters, Edith Maxwell, Gladys Atwood, Jennie Livingston, and Rebecca Leusack.
Pallbearers to serve are Vance Williams, Brandon Hodge, James Williams, Roy Ogletree, Seth Parker, Chase Warden, and Greg Warden.
