Speck Funeral Home - Maxine Ramsey Obituary

Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Maxine Ramsey, age 83 of Livingston, will be conducted at a later date.

Mrs. Ramsey passed from this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from her residence. She was born in Overton County on September 24, 1939, to the late Truman and Lola Coffman Hawkins. Maxine loved her family, spending time with her loved ones, and reading books. She enjoyed painting, drawing, and listening to Conway Twitty.

Mrs. Ramsey leaves behind her sisters Mary Dodson of Cookeville, Brenda Massengille of Livingston, and Thelma Sullivan of Rickman; brothers Bobby Hawkins and wife of Geneva of Livingston; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her husband Carlos Ramsey; sister Ina Ledbetter; and brothers James W. Hawkins, Jesse R. Hawkins, and Ronald G. Hawkins.
