Graveside Services for Mrs. Melinda K. Kirkpatrick, age 53, of the Oakley Community will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023, from the Fellowship Cemetery.  Bro. Cory Hamilton will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the graveside.  

Melinda passed from this life on Saturday October 7, 2023.  She was born in Livingston, Tennessee on September 28, 1970, to Judy K Johnson Kirkpatrick and the late John M. Kirkpatrick.  She was a 1989 graduate of Livingston Academy and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.  Melinda worked in Home Health for many years.  She enjoyed cooking and making coconut pies, listing to light rock music and growing roses.  Melinda cherished her family especially her grandbabies.  

Melinda leaves behind her sons, Blake Hargis and wife Brittany of Hilham, TN, and Blane Peterman and wife Myranda of Cookeville, TN; mother, Judy Kirkpatrick of Allons, TN; grandchildren, Chloe Beth Peterman, Ava Hargis, and Elliot Hargis; brother, John John Kirkpatrick of Allons, TN; sister, Gloria York and husband Steve of Jamestown, TN; also, several nieces and nephews.

Melinda was preceded in death by her father, John M. Kirkpatrick.

Pallbearers to serve are Pat Warren, Cody Warren, Clint Warren, Bubba York, and Lucas Reagan.
