Graveside Services for Mr. Michael Ray Cyphers, age 65, of the Willow Grove Community will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from the Fellowship Cemetery, with Military Honors provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard.  Bro. Kerry Duke will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the graveside.

Michael Ray Cyphers passed from this life from the Overton County Health & Rehab Center in Livingston, Tennessee on Sunday, May 9, 2021.  He was born January 2, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Raymond and Mary Hagan Cyphers. He was a loving, and devoted son to his parents and took wonderful care of them before they passed away.  Michael was a graduate of Clay County High School in Celina, Tennessee and a veteran of the United States Army. He later attended Livingston, Tennessee College of Applied Technology and studied Automotive Technology and worked in that field until retirement.  Michael also enjoyed driving to the lake, going camping and enjoyed being outdoors.

Michael leaves behind his aunts, Brenda Hagan Roberts, Joe Hagan Reagan, Frances Cyphers Sells, Betty Cyphers Leons, and Anna Lois Cyphers; cousins, Joyce and Jerry Sells, Judy and Paul Bybee, Tammi Cyphers, Linda and Dale Day, Shirley and Jim Washburn, Keith Cyphers, Bill Ward, Patricia Reagan, Edith Reagan, Tim and Kelly Mathis, Debbie Mathis, Clark and Sharon Reagan, Rita and Roger Underhill, Marietta and Brinte Handy, Wanda and Steve White, Christopher Roberts, Jennifer and Jacob Jones and Barbara Tucker.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Robert "Bob" and Dessie Brown Cyphers and maternal grandparents, Georgie Lee and Cassie Grogan Hagan; double first cousin Larry Cyphers and his uncles and aunts Eddie and Earlene Hagan Cyphers, Radford and Ruth Cyphers, James Cyphers, Anna Lee Cyphers Martin, Jewel Cyphers and Will J Martin, Agnes Cyphers and Neil Ward, James Cyphers, Hurfert Sells, Harry Leons, Arlie and Edna Hagan, Jerry Hagan, Winnie Mae Hagan, Rosa Lee Hagan, E. C. Reagan, Charlie Roberts, cousins, Donna Cyphers, Jamie Cyphers, Rita Mathis, Marlene Staggs and other cousins and relatives.
