Speck Funeral Home - Mike Bowers Obituary

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Michael Allen Bowers, age 71, of Rickman will be conducted at a later date.

Mike passed from this life on Thursday morning, November 10, 2022, from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to the late Haggard Leon and Lillian Maxine Sells Bowers. Mike served his country in the Navy and was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed Drag Racing, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and the Nashville Predators. Mike also loved being outdoors and being on the lake with his children, and grandchildren teaching all of them to water ski.

Mike leaves behind his sons, Jed Bowers of the Dodson Branch Community, and Justin Bowers and wife Jamie of Rickman, TN; grandchildren, Connor Bowers, Jackson Bowers, Jacob Bowers, Quintin Smith, and Jackson Bowers; sisters, Sue Arnett and husband Terry of Bowling Green, KY, June Conatser and husband Charles of Alpine, TN, Jan Swallows and husband Tommy of Rickman, TN, and Linda Rixie and husband Jimmy of Memphis, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
