Speck Funeral Home- Mikey Ogletree

Funeral Services for Mr. Jerry Michael "Mikey" Ogletree, age 59, of the Hardys Chapel Community will be conducted 3 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Bud Hargis will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Holly Springs Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home. 

Mikey passed from this life on Saturday morning, September 11, 2021 from the Sumner Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Livingston, Tennessee on March 5, 1962 to the late William Oscar and Christene Dickerson Ogletree.  A 1981 graduate of Livingston Academy, Mikey worked for many years as a Truck Inspector for Cooper Recycling, LLC.  He enjoyed volleyball, fishing, camping, working on cars and playing poker.  

Mikey leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years, Mrs. Anna Darlene Reece Ogletree of the Hardys Chapel Community; daughter, Miranda Farley and husband Brandon of the Hardys Chapel Community; sons, Jason Reece and wife Amanda of the Hardys Chapel Community, Jeremy Reece and wife Anita of Hilham, TN, and Jordan Ogletree and wife Christina of Bolestown Community; grandchildren, Courtney Reece, Dalton Reece, Janie Reece, Alicia Guinn, Jacob Minshall, Paisley Farley, Jaxon Farley, Noah Farley, and Theron Ogletree; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Thomas, and Zelda Guinn, and Willa Hargis; sister, Pat Mansell; brothers, Randy Ogletree and wife Rhonda and Ronnie Ogletree of Hilham, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mikey was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Bella Ogletree; and brother, Danny "Fruit" Ogletree.

Pallbearers to serve are Jake Pigg, Jessie Johnson, Jacob Minshall, Matt Coffman, Jonathan Coffman, and Joseph Melton.
