Mrs. Mina Huskey Padgett, age 66, of Livingston, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Overton County Health & Rehab.

She was born in Harlan, Kentucky, on January 2, 1959, to the late Lee Ray Huskey and Jewell D. Coldiron Huskey.

Mina was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. She was a hard worker who loved being surrounded by family and friends, especially during the holidays. She took great joy in cooking for everyone and making those times special. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy—she loved caring for them and watching them play sports, dance, and cheer. As soon as they could say “Granny,” that became her name to everyone who loved her.

Mina also loved her animals, working outside on the farm, and keeping her yard in perfect order. She was an avid fan of Kentucky basketball and the Tennessee Titans, and she always enjoyed listening to her favorite country music, especially while driving.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Forrester and wife Mary Forrester; grandchildren Drake, Mattisyn, Daxton, and Macklin; sisters-in-law Laura Padgett and Denise Huskey; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mina was preceded in death by her husband Cledith Padgett; sister Vicki Jarrett; brother-in-law Stanford Padgett; and nephew Andy Jarrett.
