Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Wade Smith, 60, of Allons, passed away at his home on January 19th, 2026. He was born on October 31st, 1965, to the late J.T. and Mildred (Ridge) Smith in Overton County and was raised in the Timothy community. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Robert Owens, uncle Lonnie Ridge, and aunt Meekle Masters.

Tommy is survived by his three children, Brandi Sloop and husband Josh of Holly Ridge, NC, Ashley Smith of Rickman, and Josh Smith of Gallatin, TN. He is also survived by his two sisters Rachel Smith and Rebecca Owens, both of Hilham, and the mother of his children Kim Smith. Several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends also survive.

Tommy was a master home builder with an eye for detail. One never knew which hand the hammer would be in as Tommy was fortunate enough to be ambidextrous. Not blessed with height, Tommy was known to use a 2 ft. step stool just to install baseboards. When Tommy was younger he enjoyed riding motorcycles and pretty much his entire life he was into listening to "old school" music whether it be country or rock. Tommy valued a job well done .

Services will be conducted at a later date at the Good Hope Cemetery in Livingston TN.
