Funeral Services for Mrs. Nancy Henrietta Nolen, age 84, of Monroe will be conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Her brother Marlon Winningham will officiate. Burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nancy passed from this life on Saturday evening, March 9, 2024, from her home. She was born at home on July 17, 1939, to the late Clester and Bertha White Winningham. Nancy was a 1957 graduate of Livingston Academy, and a lifelong member of the Free Communion Church of Christ. She worked for 42 years as your local real estate broker, known as Nolen Realty, where she always enjoyed the honor of helping people sell and buy their dream homes. Working with the people is what she knew best as she worked as an insurance agent for Swallows Insurance and herself before becoming a broker. Nancy was also a member of many civic clubs in Overton County.
Nancy leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, Mr. Charles Howard Nolen of Monroe, TN; son, Tim Nolen and Debbie Copeland of Monroe, TN; grandchildren, Tanner Nolen and wife Cora of Little Eagle Creek and Tate Nolen and wife Haleigh of Livingston, TN; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Zaidee Jo, and Macie Nolen; brother, Marlon Winningham and wife Kathy of Livingston, TN.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Lamsen and brothers, Tony Winningham, and JD Winningham.
Pallbearers to serve are Tate Nolen, Tanner Nolen, James Robbins, Ralph Robbins, Phillip Martin, and Gage Coleman.
