Patricia passed away in her home on Monday, February 9, 2026. She was born on June 13, 1961, in Livingston, Tennessee. Patricia was the daughter of the late Albert Clyde Watkins and Ruby (Cantrell) Watkins. She grew up surrounded by a large family and was the youngest of twelve children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Earl Watkins, Billy Ray Watkins, Jack Watkins, and Rick Watkins, and sisters Mary Jo Dailey, Johnnie Holman, and Brenda Dailey.
She is survived by brothers Paul Watkins and Fred (Diane) Watkins, and sisters Betty Sells and Janie (Harold) Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her dearly.
Patricia leaves behind her beloved daughter, Catherine Gore of Alpine, Texas, and her cherished grandson, Noah Gore of Cookeville, Tennessee. Her greatest pride was her family, and she often referred to Catherine and Noah as her most beautiful blessings. They were the center of her world, and everything she did was rooted in her love for them.
Patricia worked for many years in the medical field, where she took great satisfaction in helping others, especially the elderly. She was generous and kind-hearted, with a genuine love for people and animals alike. Her compassion extended far beyond her work and into every relationship she had.
She was a gifted seamstress. Not only did she make young Catherine’s clothes, but she also used her talent to fashion clothing for Catherine’s Barbie dolls. Patricia sewed with love and care. When her grandson came along, she poured that same creativity into sewing his Halloween costumes, each one made with love and attention to detail.
Patricia was a devoted Elvis Presley fan in her youth and cherished the memories of seeing him in concert with her sisters. She loved the beach and enjoyed antiques and thrift shopping, especially when spending time with her daughter and her sister Janie. She also made an unforgettable turkey and dressing every Thanksgiving, a tradition her family always looked forward to. She recently shared some of her special cooking skills with her grandson Noah, teaching him how to make fried chocolate pies. Patricia shared a special bond with her beloved fur baby, Percy, who was her constant companion and a source of comfort, loyalty, and unconditional love.
Patricia Gail Gore will be remembered for her gentle heart, her creativity, and her deep devotion to family. She had a quiet way of loving people fully and leaving a lasting impression without ever asking for attention. Her love, strength, and presence will continue to be felt through those who were fortunate enough to know her.
