Mr. Raymond "Hogan" Neal Lackey, Jr., age 56, of Livingston, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Livingston Regional Hospital. Born on August 30, 1968, in Lebanon, Tennessee, Hogan was the son of the late Raymond Neal and Martha Lackey.
Hogan was a kind soul who brought laughter and joy to those around him. He had a natural gift for making others smile and was lovingly described by those closest to him as "a beautiful angel to this world."
He found peace in the simple pleasures of life, spending many days fishing along Liberty Creek. Hogan also shared a special bond with his English bulldog, Rufus, who brought him immeasurable happiness. His love for his family, both human and furry, was evident in all that he did.
Hogan is survived by his loving family: Daughters: Amber Manis (husband, Kameron) of Cookeville, TN, and Ashley Marshall of Illinois. Grandchildren: Alyssa Frederick and Cambree Marshall. Sisters: Martha Daughetee (husband, Guy) of Spring Hill, TN, and Donna Roberts (husband, Mike) of Lebanon, TN. Brother: Tom Lackey (wife, Teresa) of Lebanon, TN. Beloved Companion: Ruby Lackey of Livingston, TN. Cherished Pets: "Baby dogs" Rufus Hell Lackey and Jasmine Lackey, and "granddogs" Brody, Nova, and Axel.
In addition to his parents, Hogan was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Durham, and his brother, Lonnie Lackey.
Hogan’s humor, kindness, and love for life will forever be remembered by his family and friends. His legacy is one of joy, love, and an unwavering devotion to those he held dear
