Obituary

Graveside services for Anthony Nevada also known as Richard Allen, age 66, of Hilham will be conducted 3 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2023, from the Allen Chapel Cemetery.  Bro. Jason Robertson will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the graveside.

Richard passed from this life on April 4, 2023, from the Overton County Health and Rehab.  He was born September 17, 1956, in Trenton, Michigan to the late Hilmon and Mary Emma Carr Allen.  Richard worked for many years at the Ford Motor Company.  He enjoyed working on cars, and repairing anything he could.  He was a true handyman.  Richard was a member of the Lincoln Park Masonic Lodge in Michigan.  

Richard leaves behind his sisters, Carolyn Hargis of Rickman, TN, and Kim Thrasher of Rickman, TN; brothers, Bruce Allen and wife Debbie of the Hardy Chapel Community, and Kenny Allen of Melvindale, MI; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; aunt, Frances Boles of Canton, MI, and cousin, Tammy Lee and husband, Odie of Hilham, TN.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Allen
