Funeral Services for Mr. Ricky Cooper Cozine, age 68, of Lillington, North Carolina will be conducted 1 p.m., Sunday, June 11, 2023, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Kerry Duke will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Netherland Cemetery, with Military Honors provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will welcome friends at Speck Funeral Home on Sunday from 12 noon until time of services.

Ricky passed from this life on Sunday, June 4, 2023, from the comforts of his home.  He was born in St. Louis, MO to the late William Truman and Nola Blanche Cooper Cozine.  After graduation, Ricky enlisted in the United States Air Force serving his country till 1980.  While stationed in Thailand he met and married the love of his life Sima Chaiya.  Ricky enjoyed collecting guns, and race cars especially muscle cars.  He also enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music.  His greatest joy was his family and family reunions.  

Ricky leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Mrs. Sima Cozine of Lillington, N.C.; daughter, Eima Sims and husband Greg of Jeffersonville GA; grandchildren, William Brooks Cozine and wife Lily, Abbey Belflower, and husband Eli, and Molly Sims; brother, Fred Cozine, and wife Carol of Cookeville, TN; sister, Alicia Gomez, and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Cozine; and brothers, William Claude Cozine, and Jerry Cozine.
