Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Lynn Ledbetter, age 69, of Rickman will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home, with Bro. John Copeland and Bro. Nolan Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakley Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends for visitation on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home.

Mr. Ledbetter passed from this life on Wednesday morning, July 2, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 11, 1956, in Livingston, Tennessee, to the late Arthur Benton and Georgia Margret Smith Ledbetter.

Ricky was a member of Okolona Church and a 1974 graduate of Livingston Academy. He owned and operated RL Hauling Company for many years and was widely known for his hard work and dedication. Ricky loved spending time outdoors, especially deer hunting, and enjoyed riding his side-by-side.In his younger years he enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles. He cherished time with his grandchildren, who always brought a smile to his face. He also enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows with his loving wife, Janice, and was known for his sense of humor—always ready to get the last laugh.

Son: Levi Ledbetter and wife Kayla, of Livingston, TN

Daughter: Jada Hughes and husband Patrick, of Rickman, TN

Grandchildren: Paisley, Ceily, Easton, Maverick, Jake, and Mia

He was preceded in death by his parents.
