Speck Funeral Home - Ricky Lynn Morgan

Graveside Services for Mr. Ricky Lynn Morgan, age 52 of Louisville, Kentucky, will be conducted 11 AM Saturday, October 9th, from Maxwell Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Phillip Morgan and Bro. Tim Sharp will officiate. The family will welcome friends on Friday from 12 noon until 8 PM at Speck Funeral Home. 

Ricky Lynn Morgan, age 52, passed unexpectedly on September 30, 2021. Ricky is survived by his children, Chelsea and Chase, his parents, Joseph and Janey (née Hall), and his brother, Randy. He is preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandmother, Christine Carr (née Masters). 

Ricky was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 24, 1969. He graduated from Hume-Fogg Academic High School in 1987 and from Tennessee Technical College in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a Production Manager at the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky for 29 years. On June 17, 1999 and May 30, 2001 respectively, he welcomed Chelsea and Chase into the world who were his pride and joy. 

Ricky was a devoted father and son. He enjoyed long rides on his motorcycle, listening to and watching live music, trying out new restaurants and bars, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family. He worked hard and was determined to doing everything he did right. He was proud of himself, the work he did, the life he built for himself, and his family. 

His final resting place will be at Maxwell Chapel Cemetery in Hilham, Tennessee
