Mr. Robert Dennis Smith, age 93, of Livingston, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Born in Overton County, Tennessee, Robert lived a full and joyful life centered around faith, family, and the things he loved most. He found great joy in spending time with those dearest to him, cherishing every moment shared with family and friends. A lifelong fan of all things Disney, Robert’s passion for the magic even led him to California, where he worked at Disneyland. He also had a deep appreciation for cars and the outdoors, often spending time working in his yard — a place where he felt most at peace. Robert was a devoted member of West End Church of Christ, where he found fellowship, purpose, and a beloved church family that meant the world to him.

He is survived by a very special nephew, Tim Smith and his wife Patty of Livingston; and several other nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart and daughter Shawnie Hanson of California. 

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Otlie and Ethel Smith; his loving wife, Wanda Smith; daughter, Donna Hickey; brothers, Lucian Smith, Charles Smith, and Houston Smith; and sisters, Ann Winningham, Beatrice Nevins, Veatrice Mason, Ruth Ledbetter, and Nell West.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, love of life, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at West End Church of Christ, with Bro. Kerry Duke officiating. The family will welcome friends for visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers to serve are: Brandon Smith, L.G. Puckett IV, Greene Puckett, Matthan Houser, and Huttson Houser.
