Celebration of Life Services Honoring the Life of Mr. Ronnie A. Thompson, age 78, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  The family will welcome friends on Tuesday morning from 11 a.m. until time of services.

Mr. Thompson passed from this life on Friday afternoon, February 23, 2024, from his home in Lebanon, Tennessee.  He was born at home in Overton County, Tennessee on October 10, 1945, to the late Hubert Winton and Ophelia Bessie Collins Thompson.  Ronnie was a farmer, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his bountiful garden.  He was a true outdoors man who never saw or knew a stranger who enjoyed talking to everyone.  

Ronnie leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Judy Thompson of Lebanon, TN; daughters, Duwanna Bonner and husband Mike of Lebanon, TN, and Rhonda Bonner of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, Melissa Sellers, Dianna Harrison, Christopher "Bud" Bonner, and Anthony Grose; great-grandchildren, Gracie Sellers, Haden Harrison, Allen Sellers, and Caleb Sellers; sisters, Gladys Hooks, and Brenda Sullivan and husband Bill all of Livingston, TN; brothers, Ricky Thompson and Kenny Thompson both of Livingston, TN; aunt, Thelma Bowers of Livingston, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Dailey, and brothers, Ray, Winton, Joe, and Bennie Thompson
