In Loving Memory of Mrs. Rosa E. Parsons

Graveside services for Mrs. Rosa E. Parsons, age 77, of Livingston, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Etter Cemetery in Byrdstown. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather at the graveside to celebrate her life and legacy.

Rosa peacefully passed from this life on December 12, 2024, surrounded by love at her home in Livingston. Born on April 17, 1947, in Byrdstown, she was the cherished daughter of the late Joe Johnson and Lori Abbott Johnson.

Rosa had a heart full of love and a life full of meaning. She worked as a clerk for the Food Lion Corporation but found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. Whether sewing with care or babysitting for family and friends, Rosa shared her kindness and creativity with everyone around her.

She will be deeply missed by her loving family:

Son: Chris Fletcher (wife Lana).

Daughter: April Baird (husband Evan).

Grandchildren: 12 treasured grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Sisters: Janet Ransom (husband Wesley) of Rickman, TN; Suzy Grider (husband Terry) of Rickman, TN; and Brenda Brown of Byrdstown, TN.

Brother: Eugene Johnson of Livingston, TN.

Rosa is now reunited in Heaven with her husbands, Glenn "Doc" Parsons and Cloyce Fletcher, and her beloved daughters, Katrina Potter and Alice Taylor.

Rosa’s gentle spirit, selflessness, and warmth will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
