Speck Funeral Home - Rosalie Mayer

Funeral Services for Mrs. Rosalie June Birdsall Mayer, age 81, of Allons will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2021 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. John Keith will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens.  The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home.

Rosalie passed from this life from her daughters home in Millersburg, Indiana on Tuesday evening, February 9, 2021.  She was born in Alba, Michigan on August 27, 1939 to the late Carl and Mildred Wolcott Birdsall.  Rosalie was a member of the Allons Baptist Church and enjoyed feeding all her little children while being a cook for the Overton County School System.  She loved her family and taking care of her two nieces.  Rosalie also enjoyed traveling and going to church.

Rosalie leaves behind her son, Phillip Mayer, Jr. and wife Joyce of Ft. Wayne IN; daughter, Dawn Wogomon and husband Kirk of Millersburg, IN; nieces, Dovie and Bristol Mayer; nephew, Mason Mayer; brother, Jack Birdsall and wife Carolyn of Miami, FL; sisters, Pat Weesner of Mancelona, MI, and Eudora Peck of Williamsburg, MI.

In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Mayer; brothers, Robert, Carl, Frank, and Verland Birdsall.

Pallbearers to serve are Roger Mayer, Michael Mayer, Mason Mayer, Rich Peck, Eric Peck, and Kirby Wogomon.
