Rosie Lee, born November 9, 1933, in Pickett County, TN, passed away peacefully in her home on June 29, 2026, at the age of 92.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 6,2026, at Speck Funeral Home, with visitation from 11am to 1 pm, followed by a service. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Rosie's long and well-lived life and to share the stories that keep her memory bright. The family extends thanks to all who have supported them during this time and cherishes the thought of keeping Rosie's legacy alive through acts of warmth and welcome in their own homes.
Rosie will be remembered for her generous spirit, her welcoming home, and the loving care she showed to all who crossed her threshold. A devoted grandmother, Rosie found joy in simple, enduring traditions. She tended to a flourishing garden and took special pride in canning its bounty to share with family and neighbors. Her gifted hands created quilts that warmed generations, and her sewing basket was never far from reach. She loved to fish, visit on the front porch, and - above all- to cook. Holidays at her home, especially Thanksgiving, were filled with the comforting aromas of favorite dishes and the soft hum of conversation, a reflection of the hospitality she extended so freely. No one ever left Rosie's table hungry, and all were made to feel at home.
Rosie is survived by her daughters Kathy Key and Sarah (Mark) Lowery, and stepson Foster Lee; and her brother William "Bill" Clark. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rachel and Paul Hunt, Tabatha and Scott Gaw, Josh and Ireland Walker, Dylan Lowery, and Natasha Lee.; great grandchildren- Jacob and Bailey Hunt, Courtney and Jordan Johnson, Austin Gaw, Emma Gaw, and Maggie Gaw; and great-great grandchildren Eleanor Johnsonsadie Johnson, and Nora Kate Hunt. She will be missed by many extended family members and friends who were blessed by her kindness and steady presence.
Rosie was preceded in death by her husband Willie FT Lee, 7 brothers and sisters, son Nathan Lee, stepson David Lee, and grandson Wyatt Lee.
