Roy Howard Allred, age 95, of Livingston, Tennessee, passed away on October 31, 2025, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Roy was a man who loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who found peace in nature and took great pride in growing a beautiful and productive garden each year. In his downtime, Roy enjoyed watching his favorite Westerns, a simple pleasure that brought him great joy.

He worked for many years at Livingston Furniture, where he loved his job and made many lasting friendships with his coworkers and customers alike.

Roy leaves behind his loving family: daughter Mary “Liz” Boles and husband Steve; grandson Derik Boles and wife Nichol; and great-grandchildren Bella Boles, Cohen Boles, and Carter Boles. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and in-laws who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Winnie Allred; his beloved wife, Lois Jean Allred; and his siblings, Opal Choate, Reba Parrigin, and Charles Allred Jr.

Funeral services for Roy will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Flat Creek Cemetery. Bro. Phillip Morgan will officiate. The family will welcome friends on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Roy will be remembered for his kind heart, his love of the land, and the warmth and friendship he shared with those around him.
