Speck Funeral Home - Ruby Delmaleen (Maxwell) Key

Graveside Services for Mrs. Ruby Delmaleen (Maxwell) Key, known as Delma to her family and friends and Mrs. Ruby at Heritage Pointe, age 85 of the Pleasant Ridge Community, will be conducted 3 pm Sunday, October 25th, from Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.  Bro. Bryant Owens will officiate.  The family will welcome friends on Sunday from 1:30 until time of services at 3 pm from the Pleasant Ridge Church.

Mrs. Key passed from this life on Friday morning, October 23, 2020, from NHC Healthcare in Cookeville.  She was born in Putnam County to the late Edgar Odell and Ruby Jewell Lowe Maxwell.  Mrs. Key loved to work outside in her flowers, taking care of her family, reading, and singing in the church choir.

Ruby leaves behind her sons Carl Key of Cookeville and Billy Key of Lexington, North Carolina; daughters Deloris Key of Cookeville and Theresa Geraci and husband Michael of Palm Coast, Florida; sister Mansceen Davis of Smithville; and brother John Burdell Maxwell of Spencer.

In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband David B. Key; brother Melvin Maxwell; and two infant brothers.

Pallbearers to serve are Carl Key, Billy Key, Michael Geraci, Wayne Key, and Wayne Lowe.
