Speck Funeral Home - Ruth Ramsey Obituary

Celebration of Life Services for Miss. Ruth Ellen Ramsey, age 87, of Livingston will be held at a later date. Miss Ruth passed from this life on Thursday morning, October 8, 2020, from the Overton County Health & Rehab. She was born in Overton County, Tennessee on January 24, 1933 to the late Claude D. & Fannie D. Hammock Ramsey.

Ruth worked for many years as a seamstress in Livingston. She was a 1951 Graduate of Livingston Academy and Baptist in Faith.

Ruth leaves behind her brother, Ralph Ramsey and wife Barbara of Livingston, TN; niece, Gail Hall and husband Kenny of Allons, TN; great niece, Angela Maynord and husband Doug of Livingston, TN; great nephew, Tony Ledbetter of San Antonio, TX; great-great nephew, Ty Maynord of Livingston, TN.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her sister, Retha V. Ramsey; brother, Carlos R. Ramsey, and niece Reba Dean Reid.
