Speck Funeral Home - Sharon Ann Shuell

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Mrs. Sharon Ann Shuell, age 79, of Athens, Tennessee will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2023, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  The family will welcome friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Burial to follow in the Okolona Cemetery.

Mrs. Sharon passed from this life on Tuesday morning, October 24, 2023, from the Star Regional Medical Center in Athens, Tennessee.  She was born October 19, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Omar and Sylvia Daniels Easterly.  Sharon loved her family dearly and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed Motown music, watching Law & Order and Dr. Pol on TV.  

Sharon leaves behind her daughter, Sandra Eaton, of Athens, TN; son, Marcus Murphy of Boise, ID; step-son, Stuart Shuell and wife Robin of Sterling Heights, MI; grandchildren, Donald and wife Gypsy, Sam and wife Misty, Denver and wife Ashley, Sherri and husband Nick, Sky and wife Stephanie, Robbie, Michael and wife Samie, Martin and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Tiffani, Keaton, Emma, Ryan, Gunner, Grayson, and Tegan; sister, Sandra Ledbetter of Hilham, TN; also several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Ralph "Bud" Shuell, and brother, Carl Easterly.
