Mr. Steven David Williams, age 72, of Clarksville, Tennessee, and formerly of Overton County, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the Tennova Healthcare Center in Clarksville. He was born on September 27, 1952, in Mt. Clemons, Michigan, to the late Lloyd and Gracey Halfacre Williams.

Steven was a proud and devoted U.S. Navy veteran who served his country with honor where he did two tours. His patriotism was unwavering, and he carried the values of duty, honor, and sacrifice throughout his life. He believed deeply in the principles that make this country great, and his love for America was clear in everything he did.

Beyond his military service, Steven had a deep love for the outdoors, finding peace in nature and joy in watching sports. He was also a true animal lover, with his beloved dog "Chewy" being a constant companion in his life.

Above all, Steven was a man of faith, and he loved the Lord with all his heart. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he loved his family unconditionally, always putting them first and supporting them with his strength and kindness. Steven's legacy of love, devotion, and patriotism will be forever cherished by those who knew him.

Steven leaves behind his son, Saege Williams of Cookeville, TN; his daughter, Bobbi Jo Andrews of Cookeville, TN; his sons, Max Mochow of Monterey, TN, and Laish Williams of Cookeville, TN; and his grandson, Nathan Luttrell. And grandson,  Patrick Zayne Boatman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Gracy Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Freddie Harding will officiate, and burial will follow at the Netherland Cemetery, with Military Honors provided at the graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.

Pallbearers will include Max Mochow, Saege Williams, Nathan Luttrell, Christian Andrews, and Laish Williams.

Steven’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His patriotism, faith, and love for his country and family will never be forgotten.
