Mrs. Sue Brown, age 76, of Livingston, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Cookeville Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Sue Brown will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Eric Dillon, Dawson Simmons, and Mark Neely will officiate. Burial will follow in Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends on Monday, April 28, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and again on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Sue was born in Livingston, Tennessee, on May 23, 1948, to the late Roy and Mattie Bell Collins Ledbetter. She devoted her life to serving the Lord and remained faithful throughout the years. Known for her warm spirit, Sue never met a stranger. She deeply loved her family and friends and brought joy to those around her. Sue was a feisty and spunky little woman, with a smile on her face.

Sue is survived by her daughter Tammy Sims of Monroe, TN; grandsons Will Sims and wife Salem of Allgood, TN and Jaxson Sims of Allons, TN; great-grandson Porter Ryan Sims; brother Raymond Ledbetter and wife Helen of Plainfield, IN; sister-in-laws Patricia Hargis of Alpine, TN and Rachel Ledbetter of Indianapolis, IN; brother-in-law Clois Brown and wife Kay of Byrdstown, TN; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Shirley and Peggy Dillon.

In addition to her parents Sue was preceded in death husband Bill Brown and brother Waymond Ledbetter and Laymond Ledbetter. 

Pallbearers to serve are Parker Greenwood, Preston Greenwood, Colby Walker, Wesley Smith, Lucas Simmons, Nate Neely, Wade Neely, and Jeffery Spivey.

Honorary pallbearers are Will Sims, Jaxson Sims, and Luke Walker.
