Funeral Services for Mr. Tanner Bryant Oakley, age 18, of Monroe will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024, from the Speck Funeral Chapel. Bro. Steve Salmon will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Nelson Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9:00 pm and Saturday at 9:00 am until time of service at 2pm at Speck Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Tanner passed from this life on Saturday, July 6, 2024.  He was born in Livingston, Tennessee on September 22, 2005,  to Tim and Holly Ogletree Oakley.  Tanner enjoyed being outdoors especially, deer, turkey hunting, and going to the lake. He loved driving anything, and going to concerts with Brandon and his friends, that he loved. He took immense pride in his work. He loved his family dearly. 

Tanner leaves behind his parents Tim and Holly Oakley of Monroe, TN; brother Brandon Beasley of Monroe, TN; fiancee Katie Evans of Celina, TN; future son Nolan Tanner Oakley; grandmothers Nina Oakley of Monroe, TN and Brenda Franklin of Livingston, TN; uncles Jason Oakley and wife Heather of Monroe, TN and Calvin Booher of Hartsville, TN; Aunts Misty Hall and husband Buddy of Gainesboro, TN and Mandy Hays of Cookeville, TN and several cousins, friends, and extended family.  

Tanner was preceded in death by his grandfathers Don Oakley and Douglas Ogletree, and uncle Bryant Oakley.

Pallbearers to serve are Trevor Brown, Harper Robbins, Jacob Folker, Wesley Keisling, Nathan Keisling, Emmitt Gunnels, Lucas White, and Parker Gentry.
