Terry was preceded in death by his parents Avery and Panzie Winningham Lindsay, brothers Bobby Lindsay, Gilbert Ray Lindsay, and Randell Keith Lindsay along with sisters Phyllis Goodpasture, Barbara Clark, Anna Gray, and Betty Shimer.

Terry served his country proudly from 1964 until 1976 and was deployed to Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Terry was good with his hands and worked as a mechanic, most recently at Woolbright's Garage in Livingston. Terry very much enjoyed time spent with his family and in his younger days when he found the time he really liked fishing. As his age crept up and Terry was slowing down he loved his TV, the bigger the better. A large TV seemed to make watching golf, racing, football, basketball and even the fringe sports like darts more enjoyable on a big screen. Terry will be missed by many but left a lasting impression on the many lives he touched through the years.
