Mr. Tommy Alan Gore, 70, of Livingston TN passed away the Livingston Regional Hospital on June 2nd, 2026.  Tommy was a hardworking man who loved his family very much.

Funeral services will be held on Friday June 5th, 2026, at 2 PM from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit from 5-9 pm on Thursday June 4th and again on Friday from 12 noon until 2 PM. Burial will be in the Overton Memorial Gardens. Brother Roy Lee Seber and Brother Thomas Hale will be officiating the services.

Tommy is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Patricia L. (Pat) Gore, daughters Rebecca (Eric) Hooks, Selissa (Tony) Heard, grandchildren Avery Kate & Mason Heard, Nephews David (Amy) Gore, Mark (Lea Ann) Gore, Sisters-in-law Shirley Gore, Joyce Bilbrey of Red Boiling Springs TN, Diana Worley, JoAnn Greenwood, and brother-in-law Danny (Kathy) McDonald.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Sibyl Howard Gore, brothers Donald Charles Gore, Damon Howard Gore, special cousin Joan Canales, sisters-in-law Betty Abbott, Lilly Mae Pennington, Edith Murphy, brothers-in-law Cecil McDonald, Gary McDonald, Nephew Jackie Worley, and his father and mother-in-law Elliot Tick and Myrtle McDonald.

Tommy was never one for sitting still. Although he retired from Fleetguard in Cookeville, Tommy had a hand in several endeavors. He enjoyed farming and working outdoors any time he could. He was an assistant with the Overton County Agriculture Extension Office. He and H.B. Garrison traveled many miles going from farm to farm doing everything from checking soil samples, crops, to anything else in the agricultural industry. As a child he often hung around the Texaco station in Timothy that his parents owned. Passersby going to Standing Stone State Park would often stop in as customers and friends.  Tommy was proud of his heritage and was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy. He was also fond of collecting coins from time to time. Tommy was a railfan and enjoyed trains. Their power, beauty, the rumbling sound all peaked Tommy's eyes and ears. Tommy loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. He included them in many of his activities and enjoyed the smiles and laughter any time his family got together. Tommy will be deeply missed by family and friends.
