Mr. Tony McKinley Cooper, age 59, of Livingston, passed away on September 17th, 2024, from his home in Livingston, Tennessee. He was born on June 5th, 1965, in Wisconsin to Mack and Wanda Cooper. He graduated from Wapahani High School, class of 1983, in Selma, IN.
Tony dedicated his career first to serving as a Chief Petty Officer, SKC (SW), in the United States Navy, obtained his bachelor's degree from Saint Leo University in Hampton, VA, and retired after a respectful 20 years. During his Navy service, he served on USS McKee, USS Abraham Lincoln (Plank Owner), USNS San Diego, and USS Saipan. Then he served the United States government as a postal carrier for 20 years, during which he was also the Shop Steward for Crossville NALC Branch 4 Union for 17 years. His passion for work was evident in his commitment and perseverance.
He was an avid collector of memorabilia, baseball cards, and comic books. He also loved going to auctions, and card and comic shows.
He is survived and will be missed greatly by his wife, Tammy Rodgers Cooper; daughter, Kristin Brown and husband Jeremy; son, Kyle Cooper; grandsons, Jaxson Brown, Brayden Brown; sister, Angie Robinson and husband Chris; and a half-sister, Patricia Cooper.
