A Gathering of Family and Friends celebrating the life of Mrs. Vicki Louise Bowman Rush, age 63, of Rickman and formerly of the Shady Grove Community will be Sunday, September 22, 2024, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.  

Mrs. Vicki passed from this life on Wednesday evening, August 21, 2024, from the Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.  She was born in Monterey, Tennessee on February 8, 1961, to the late Russell D. and Ollie Mae Blaylock Bowman.  A 1979 graduate of Cookeville High School, Vicki enjoyed her family and grandchildren.  She also enjoyed being a florist and working as a CNA for many years.

Vicki leaves behind her husband, Robert Bumbalough of Rickman TN; sons, Russell Rush and wife Sky of the Hardys Chapel Community, and Robert Bumbalough, Jr. of Cookeville, TN; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Amonett of Cookeville, TN, and Glenda Meredith and husband Roger of Murfreesboro, TN; special daughter-in-law, Tonya Branson of Monterey, TN; sisters-in-laws, Lisa Bowman of Monterey, TN, and Janice Bowman of Cookeville, TN

In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her son, Dustin Rush, daughter, Brandy Sutton, brothers, Jeff, Kenneth, and Dewey Bowman; sister-in-law, Kay Bowman
