Speck Funeral Home - Vickie Lynn Smith

Funeral Services for Ms. Vickie Lynn Smith, age 48 of Livingston, will be held 2 pm Thursday, July 30, 2020, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston.  Burial will be in the Edwards Family Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of services at 2 pm.

Ms. Smith passed from this life on Monday afternoon, July 27, 2020, from Cookeville Regional Medical Center.  She was born on September 11, 1971, to the late George Roy and Betty Ann Boles Edwards.  Vickie loved playing with her grandchildren, enjoyed going to the lake and fishing, and loved to dance around and make jokes.

Ms. Smith leaves behind her fiance John Melton of Livingston; daughter Mercedes Greenwood and husband Max of Algood; son Ronnie King II of Monroe; granddaughters Lilly Grace Greenwood and Arabella King; grandson Bentley Cole Hendricks; sister Ruby Garrett of Allons; brothers Ricky Edwards and wife Cynthia of Alpine, Junior Edwards and wife Angela of Livingston, and Curtis Edwards of Monroe; nephews George, Josh, Wesley, and Aden; and nieces Komie, Beth, Destiny, Tara, Hailey, and Little Komie.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Ashley Maynard.

Pallbearers to serve are Max Greenwood, Dalton Kirby, George Edwards, Brandon McFalls, Josh Garrett, and Jarrett Suggs.
